Free Beginner Sewing Home Décor Pattern

This smashing holiday stocking is fit for a queen, or even a little princess! Pair up a little metallic trim, some great decorative stitching using Coats & Clark Metallic thread and jacquard home décor fabric to create it.

Don’t forget to pick up the finishing touches for your project! Take a look at the list of supplies you’ll need that aren’t included in your kit.

Kit does not include:

• 1/2 yd (45.72cm) ecru jacquard home décor fabric, 60” (152.40cm) wide (stocking)*

• 3/8 yd (34.29cm) linen with metallic finish, 60” (152.40cm) wide (cuff, loop)

• 1/2 yd (45.72cm) lining fabric*

• 1/4 yd (22.86cm) fusible interfacing

• 3/4 yd (68.58cm) metallic trim, 7/8” (2.22cm) wide

• Super bulky yarn, for tassel

• Metallic needle

• 6” (15.24cm) square of heavy cardboard, or a 6” 915.24cm) quilting ruler

• *Note: Stocking is cut crosswise. If that won’t work with your fabric, you’ll need 5/8 yd (57.15cm). If you cut carefully, you’ll have enough fabric leftover to make a coordinating basket
